The Information Technology Alliance has rolled out a new “Technology Partner Program”, which replaces the previous Affiliate Partner Program. The goals of the revamped program include creating a more simplified model that will allow the organization to welcome more members while remaining mindful of the ratio of vendors to members at their events.
The program is being rolled out to existing members of the Affiliate Partner Program first, and applications will open up to new prospective members on July 1. Notable ERP-related organizations who have already signed on to the new program include Acumatica, ScanForce, DataSelf, NetSuite, SPS Commerce, BILL, and Avalara.
In the past few years, the Information Technology Alliance has seen a huge increase in demand for affiliate memberships. The organization has always had a limit on the number of affiliate members based on a ratio to general members (Consulting & Reselling firms, Internal Technology Leaders of CPA firms, and CAS firms). In an effort to accommodate the demand and bring in fresh perspectives and new contributors, the program has been revised to allow for more partner organizations while maintaining a healthy ratio of member types.
