Marc Monday Announces Departure From Deltek

January 8, 2025

Marc Monday announced his departure from Deltek after a seven-month stint as Vice President of Global Partnerships & Alliances. Monday’s career also includes numerous executive positions at Sage, Citrix, Cisco, SAP and Microsoft.

Marc Monday, then VP Sales at Sage, left the Sage organization on April 12, 2024, and Mark Hickman, Managing Director of Sage North America, announced a forthcoming succession plan to ensure a smooth transition and maintain high support levels. Nancy Sperry then returned to Sage as VP US Partner Sales to assume the role left vacant by Monday.

Monday had been with Sage for almost three years and served in a variety of global channel management roles, including Global Vice President of US Partner Ecosystem Sales & Partner Strategy and, ultimately, Senior VP of Sales. He had taken over most North America channel responsibilities, frequently described by him as temporary though it seemed to have become permanent, upon the departure of Sage’s previous channel chief Nancy Teixeira in January 2023.

Deltek recently appointed a new Senior Director of Partnerships and Alliances. This may indicate an internal promotion is in the works, though there’s still no word on who may replace Monday.
