OUR TAKE:
- Stripe will process payments for more Sage products, including Sage Network
- More specific features include streamlined checkout, payment processing, and contactless payments with Tap to Pay, as well as automatic bank transfer reconciliation.
- The expanded partnership is not exclusive and is currently available in the UK, US, Canada, and France across various Sage products, including Sage Accounting, Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 200, and Sage Connect.
On July 25, 2025, Sage announced an expanded partnership with Stripe to enhance cash flow management and payment processing for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). This builds upon an earlier partnership announced in April 2018 that focused on digital invoicing. The expanded partnership offers businesses a wider range of options to pay and get paid quickly and gives them access to Stripe’s financial infrastructure.
The 2024 announcement is part of Sage’s broader vision of building a connected network for SMBs. A key part of this vision is Sage Network, a platform launched by Sage on May 24, 2023, to connect and automate workflows across diverse accounting systems, regardless of whether they use Sage or non-Sage accounting software. Stripe is fully integrated into Sage Network.
